Happy New Year's Eve Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
I cannot believe it is time to wave good-bye to 2014. Twenty-fouteen was an amazing crafting year for me. Every month I worked alongside an amazing group of talented designers and have made wonderful friends within the crafting community. I am looking forward to growing as a crafter in 2015 and possibly attending my first craft show/expo. Wahoo!
Before 2014 departs, I wanted to share my last card for this year featuring Taylored Expressions' Pieces of My Heart with coordinating die.

Happy Tuesday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
The end of the year is quickly coming to a close, and I have a special card to share with you. I made this sweet card for our oldest who will soon be celebrating his 7th birthday. I cannot believe he will be seven. Time is passing too quickly!

Happy Monday Crafty Friends,
I love starting the beginning of the week with a little crafty inspiration, especially given the busy Christmas week ahead. This week, I am sharing with you a card featuring the Much Love stamp set from Taylored Expressions. The Much Love stamp set is a complement to the Sunshiny Day set released earlier this year.

Happy Saturday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
A dear friend celebrated her 60th birthday this week and in honor of that special day, I wanted to make a card for her. Thanks to Tenia from Jazzy Paper Designs, I came across another fabulous sketch challenge blog, ShowCASe Your Style. I used sketch No. 4 to design my card along with another fabulous Unity stamp.

Happy Friday Fellow Unity Stamp Co. Friends,
Today, I am sharing a card I created using Unity's Naked Snow Peep, Mike stamp. I have had this cute, little stamp in my Unity stamp collection for awhile, so it was nice to pull it out of my stash to create a Christmas card for my parents. I used Deconstructed Sketch No. 181 for my card. I love a great sketch that incorporates multiple layers.

Happy Thursday fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Welcome to the last Just A Scrappin' Challenge for 2014! I hope we have inspired you to create awesome cards, projects and layouts this year. We look forward to seeing you next year, so don't forget to stop by the beginning of January. This week's challenge is to create a card, layout or project using the colors black, silver and white.
I chose to keep my card very clean and simple. I know, a first for me. However, with the holidays quickly approaching, sometimes it is nice to keep it SIMPLE.

Happy Thursday Taylored Expressions Fans,
Wahoo! Release Day is here! Bring out the hearts, chemistry sets, sassy critters, and more, because Valentine's Day is here! I know, you are probably thinking, "What? Valentine's Day, already?" The answer is YES! Once Christmas is over, Valentine's Day is just a hop, skip and two months away. The day celebrating love really does sneak up on a person. So to make sure you are not caught without a card for your special someone, come and share the love with the Taylored Expressions' Design Team and be inspired!
Today, I am serving up a loving (or maybe not) helping of Grumpling love. This might not be the first time you have seen these rascals. Earlier in the year, the Party Grumplings appeared. I don't know about you, but for me it was love at first sight. I loved the facial expressions and pithy sentiments of that stamp/die collection. So when the Valentine Grumplings debuted, well I was all in =)

Can you believe it, we are in the month of December! Where did the year go? How can one year of my life have passed me by? Oh, I remember. I was in my craft room creating and playing with all my crafting toys. I will write, this has been an amazing crafting year. I have met and worked alongside so many talented crafters/artists. I have grown as a crafter because of those amazing individuals. I feel truly blessed. I cannot wait to see what 2015 brings!
To kick off the month of December and the glory that is Christmas, this week's challenge is to create a card, project or layout with a Christmas theme (using any color palette).

Happy Sunday Taylored Expressions Fans,
I am just popping in for a quick post. I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, TURKEY and family. I cannot believe how quickly Thanksgiving is over with. *Sigh*
I have one more lovely card to share with you using November's Taylored Expressions Release. I created this card with my son's teacher in mind (you can never say "Thank You" enough for all the hard work a teacher puts into creating a wonderful learning environment).

I came across this week's Moxie Fab World "Throwdown Challenge" and thought, "Hey, I can do that!" I love seeing what fellow crafters have on their crafting desks. Here is what is currently on my desk: a stack of cards I need to send out; and two, my latest Taylored Expressions's order.

Happy Thursday fellow Scrappers and Crafters,
I recently came across a lovely, creatively inspirational blog called Fill Your Paper With the Breathings of Your {Heart}. Every Monday, Taheerah, post a weekly inspirational picture to get the creative juices flowing...so truly needed on Mondays. This is my first time playing in a challenge where a picture inspires me to create and I was honestly looking forward to playing along. This week's picture inspiration, Child's Play, is filled with geometric shapes and lovely pastel colors...a true eye catcher.
My card incorporates both the colors and the geometric landscape of the room. And with Christmas only a few week's away, I pushed the creative envelope and created a pastel winter scene instead of using traditional Christmas colors.

The November Release is here! I hope you have enjoyed stopping by the Taylored Expressions blog all this week to view this month's awesome new dies, stamps, embossing folders and other crafting goodies.
This month, I am showcasing In Other Words--Tea, a lovely stamp set that can be used for both birthday celebrations and encouragement. I created this card by embossing the stamped image using VersaMark ink and Zing black embossing powder and then quickly heat setting the image. Next, I pulled out a variety of Tim Holtz Distress ink pads to watercolor my image. I love using this technique.

Happy Wednesday fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
This week is flying by. Let alone the month of October. Can you believe it? We are seriously on our way to Christmas! With that in mind, here is my last card Christmas card, for this month anyway, using a fabulous stamp set from Taylored Expressions', Campy Christmas.
I will be honest with you, when I saw this stamp set I screamed and called my hubby over. Why you might ask? We are crazy for campers, trailers, and motorhomes in this house. This stamp set was well, right up our alley.

Taylored Expressions' October Release...Wishing You A Bright Holiday Season!
Hello Taylored Expressions Fans,
Happy Release Day! This month's release is filled with warm wishes and holiday cheer. I am in love with the many holiday stamp sets, which offer creative inspiration for each crafty perspective from the traditional to the contemporary. So go ahead, grab a cup of coffee and prepared to be inspired.
Who doesn't love twinkling, colored Christmas lights? This card features the Share the Light stamp set and coordinating Little Bits Christmas Bulbs dies. I love the flexibility of this set. There are various images of lightbulb strands to choose from or you can go wild and create your own. The coordinating Little Bits dies allow you to customize your bulbs for that personal, creative touch.

Happy Monday Fellow Taylored Expressions Fans,
I have had an awesome time showcasing this month's fabulous release and new Matched Line (which is sure to make coordinating one's color palette even easier). I hope you had a chance to visit the Taylored Expressions gallery for more crafting inspiration.
My last card uses the fun Little Bits Halloween dies, which coordinate nicely with the Pocket & Pages 3x4 Circle Showcase die. I created my own Halloween paper by heat embossing spooky sentiments on Pumpkin cardstock. A cute little ghost (Critters in Costume stamp set), glittery spiders and pattern, paper fun and my Boo Spooktacular card was complete.

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends,
Can you believe Halloween is nearly at our doorsteps? Soon there will be little ninjas, Transformers, and Darth Vaders asking for a "Trick or Treat." My family loves Halloween, so when this month's Taylored Expressions Halloween collection was released, it found a treasured spot in my craft room. I created this card using this small, but very versatile stamp, Spooky Cat.
Spooky Cat is a great stamp that allows you to create a scene, as I did here, or make the image the focus of your card or project (for more inspiration, view the Taylored Expressions' gallery). I used watercolor paper and distress ink pads to create a multicolored background for my embossed image, along with bold pattern papers from Taylored Expressions' new Matched Line, Hocus Pocus. I then used various Taylored Expressions dies to create my scene. A few embellishments and my card was complete.

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Scrapers,
Is it just me or is this week flying by? Ok, let's be honest, this year is flying by! Fall is here! Wahoo! Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the winter clothes, crisp weather, time with family indoors, I could go on and on about fall. Happy Fall, my crafty friends!
Ok, now that I was able to welcome in a new season...it's time to craft! This week's challenge is to create a shaker or window card using a color and theme of your choice. I chose to create a window card. I realized while making my card that I use a lot of frames, but not windows. So, I used the negative space from one of my dies and got to work.

Welcome to another great challenge at Just A Scrappin' . This week's challenge is to FINALLY use that beloved, crafting goodie that has been stashed away for too long.
I know I am not the only crafter out here who falls in love with the latest and greatest craft item that I just have to have and then it just sits...unused and loved! I came across this stamp set from Lil' Inker and well, I just had to have it! I dreamed about the awesome cards I would create and then nothing. Well, no more! It's time for this stamp set to see the light.

Hello Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a chance to hop on over to the Taylored Expression's blog to check out the September Release, partake of the birthday festivities and find more crafty inspiration. If not, please hop on over, you will not be disappointed!
This week's post features one of the new Mischief Marker stamps, Carried Away. I could not wait to try coloring this cute stamp with Copic markers. I am still working on my coloring skills, and this is the first time I colored an image with an individual. Yikes! However, I am really happy with the way she turned out.

And even more exciting, Taylored Expressions is celebrating their 6th birthday with an AWESOME, September release filled with inspiration, a challenge sketch, and of course a crafting goodies giveaway (see below for details)! I love a good party!
Today, I am showcasing this adorable birthday card I created using the stamp sets And Many More along with Think Happy Thoughts. Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to another wonderful challenge at Just A Scrappin'. This week, we are mad for markers! That's right, go ahead and break out your Copic, Spectrum Noir, and/or Distress Markers. It does not matter what markers you are using, just as long as your are coloring. What we do hope you do, is get into your craft room and create something beautiful and practice a coloring technique or two.
I am new to the coloring scene. However, I am slowly amassing a collection of Copic markers. I will write, the learning curve can feel pretty steep at times, but there are many wonderful tutorials and books available for one's edification. I created this card using a stamp from my ever-growing Unity Stamp collection. This little lovely has been patiently waiting for its debut, and well today is the day.

Happy Friday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Woohoo! I am so excited to be back within the crafting community. I took the month of August off to move. I cannot begin to describe how sad it was to pack my beloved tools, embellishments and PAPER! I had to live without my crafting goodies for a month. Oh, the horror of it all! However, unpacking the boxes labeled craft room, after a hiatus, was like welcoming home old friends.
To celebrate being back, I took full advantage of this week's Just A Scrappin' Challenge to get into my craft room and get creative. The challenge, is to create a card, project, or layout using fall colors. I was so happy to have my crafting items within reach that I decided to do a bit of everything: Copic marker coloring, embossing, using distress inks, die cutting and layering. Needless to write, I was able to play for an hour or so. It was marvelous!

Hello Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
I had a chance to stop by the Retro Sketches blog and view their latest sketch. Fabulous, of course. I decided to pair the multi-layered sketch with some of my favorite papers, stamps and embellishments from Taylored Expressions. I am in love with those darling little flip flops. Too, cute for words.

Welcome to our weekly Just A Scrappin' Challenge. This week we are celebrating summer by creating a card, project or layout using a beach theme.
I based my card off the CAS(E) this Sketch No. 83. I like the simplicity of this sketch. I used distress inks and Taylored Expressions' Ray of Sunshine cutting plate to create the light effect for my lighthouse. The die cut is a throwback from an old Cricut cartridge...Life is a Beach. A few seagulls to chart the way and my card is complete.

Happy Thursday!
Welcome to this week's Just A Scrappin' Challenge... celebrating DAD. With Father's Day on the horizon, it is time to step into your craft room and make something special for Dad. The focus of this card is a 3x4 journaling card. I kept my embellishments simple and had a little fun with ink blots and splatters.

Hello Taylored Expressions Fans,
This week, I have the amazing opportunity to be featured on the Taylor Expressions' Blog showcasing creative ways to use June's Key Ingredients Kit.
I created this month’s showcase around gift giving. I find late spring and summer bring with it a flurry of gift giving activity: Teacher Appreciation, graduations, birthdays, saying good-bye to a friend and/or Thank You gifts for the perfect host or hostess. I enjoy creating something special for each of these individuals who have touched my life. I hope this collection inspires you to step into your craft room and create gifts for those special individuals in your life.

I created all of my projects using June's Key Ingredients Kit, Bright Boutique (Stamp of the Month), and the coordinating dies; Hi, Hey, Hello. I love the bright colors and striking graphics found in Simple Stories' DIY Boutique 6x6 paper pad. And the stamps and dies were not too shabby either. Honestly, I cannot get enough of that cute little phone die. Here is a closer look at the projects...
Lip Balm Holder: Perfect as a stocking stuffer, party favor, or just to say, "I am thinking of you."

Notepad Holder: Great teacher appreciation gift, or a perfect gift for a friend or host/hostess
Vintage DIY Paper Wreath: Home Decor
I hope I have demonstrated the versatility of June's kit, with its complementing stamps and dies, is perfect for creating gifts for any occasion for that special someone in your life. You can find this wonderful kit and other crafting goodies at the Taylored Expressions' store. However, this great kit won't last forever. So check it out. You will be glad you did.
Thank you for stopping by.
Smiles,
Keia
