Happy Release Day, Fetti' Friends!
For the last three days, the Reverse Confetti Creative Team and Friends have been showcasing the lovely stamps and dies from the September release. There is a little something for everyone to love in this release. Whether you are a fan of cute Halloween critters or are ready for fall with hot apple cider and rustic florals there is something to get you in the holiday/season mood.
It has been a hot moment, I mean years since I have created a shaped card. And sometimes it is nice to switch things up to view stamps and dies in a whole new light. To create this card, I started by diecutting two circles for the card base from the Hello Holidays paper pad. I then diecut the Large Detailed Circle out of chocolate-colored cardstock. I was tempted to turn this focal point into a shaker element, but I did not have the right shaker material that would add and not detract from the overall card design. I heat embossed a sentiment from the Autumn Apple Cider stamp set onto heat-safe acetate cardstock. The Fall Flowers stamp and die set is fun to color and makes for a stunning floral bouquet. I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut the floral arrangement and adhered it to the side of my circular-shaped card. I love how this card came together and look forward to sending a little happy mail to a dear friend.
