Taylored Expressions and Laurie Willison: Masking Stencils

Happy Wednesday Crafting Friends,

What did you think of the stencils? I will write, using the stencils does make masking a lot easier, and removes the anxiety of ripping your paper. Today's card is in honor of fall. Finally, fall is here! This card project uses the larger square stencil with leaves a lovely, crisp border.

To create this card, I started by laying down the larger square mask onto an A2 Sugar Cube card base. I then used the dye inks Mulled Wine, Sweet Basil, Sweet Potato, and Pineapple to create an inked fall background. I later embossed the panel using clear embossing powder and the Autumn Leaves Background stamp. My fall scene uses the cutest little bear from the Simply Smitten stamp set and pumpkins from Simply Stamped Pumpkins. A few fall leaves in Mulled Wine, Pineapple, Chocolate Truffle, Sweet Potato Pie, and Dijon completes this fall scene.

Thank you for stopping by. Don't forget to head over to the Taylored Expressions Blog (HERE) for more inspiration using the TE Masking Stencils. And for a limited time...

Happy Crafting,

Keia
