Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Week Day 1: Best Wishes...

Hello Taylored Expressions Fans and Crafty Friends!

Happy TE Sneak Peek Week, and for the young at heart, Happy April Fool's Day! My youngest, who is eight, is excited that today is April Fool's Day. So excited in fact, that he told me in advance the trick he is planning on playing on me. Bless his sweet heart, he is still learning how to play. And I avoided a mouthful of soap on my toothbrush. =)

I hope you are ready to step into spring with the Taylored Expressions Creative Team. The April release is packed with fantastic themes that are sure to please. This release includes wedding/anniversary, teacher appreciation, spring and sweet babies. Like I wrote, a little something for everyone on your card list.

Today, I am sharing with you a wedding card featuring the new Birds and Bloom Stencil paired with To Have & To Hold.

I love that the Birds & Bloom Stencil reminds of spring and the beauty found in new beginnings. To create this card, I inked a Sugar Cube card panel using Blueberry, Cookie Monster, Pink Champagne and Cupcake dye inks. The color palette is both bold and romantic at the same time. I then used purple tape to hold the stencil on top of my inked panel and proceeded to apply Cosmic Shimmer paste to the panel. I set the panel aside to dry, and die cute the happy couple from Sea Salt cardstock. The bride's wedding dress is made from white tulle with pink seam binding for the sash. A strong adhesive allows the wedding couple die cut to adhere to the glitter paste. A die cut "Best Wishes" sentiment from Cupcake and Blueberry cardstock completes this card.

Thank you for stopping by. Visit the Taylored Expressions Blog (HERE) for more inspiration from the Creative Team, and information regarding products from the April release. As with each new release, answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win goodies from the April release.

Happy Crafting,
