JAS Challenge...Going Geometric

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Crafters,

Welcome to another fun challenge from the ladies at Just A Scrappin'. This week's challenge is all about shapes! We want you to go wild and create a card, layout or project using shapes.

I recently came across a video on Youtube, by Jennifer McGuire, showing how to get the most of your metal dies. Jennifer used an embossing pad, you can also use several layers of felt, to emboss with your metal dies. Well, of course I had to give this technique a try and this challenge was the perfect excuse. However, one never really needs an excuse to get crafty =)

I used several circle dies from two different Taylored Expressions die sets, Pocket & Pages 3x4 Circle Showcase and Spin It to Win It. I placed the smaller circle in the middle of the larger circle and began to design my card's background. I then completed my card by adding a tag, a few birthday embellishments and twine.

Smiles,

Keia
