Hello Crafty Friends,
What did you think? Are you ready to head into your craft rooms
and get crafty? I cannot believe how quickly time passes. It is time to work on
Valentine’s Day cards. Love is in the air. Well, that and a few snow flurries.
Today, I am sharing two card projects featuring Sarcastic Chuck and a new edition
to the stamp/stencil/cutting plate trio, the Loved Collection.
Welcome to Sarcastic Chuck and his FABULOUS wife, Sarcastic Chick. The sentiments for this stamp set are hilarious. To create this card I stamped, die-cut, and Copic colored the cute couple. Using an A2 size piece of Sugar Cube cardstock, I stamped the Follow Your Heart Background image using Cherry Pop dye ink. The sentiment, "Yes, Dear. You're Right." completes this card.
The Love is in the Air card uses the Loved Background Stamp and stencil to create this card. Using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder, I stamped the Loved background image onto Sugar Cube cardstock. Next, I used the coordinating stencil to mask the cardstock. The TE Blender Brushes helped me to achieve a gradient effect using Mulled Wine, Cherry Pop, Lollipop and Fruit Punch blend. A heat embossed sentiment and baker's twine completes this card.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you are inspired to head into your craft rooms this weekend. For more inspiration, visit the Taylored Expressions Blog (HERE).
