Well, what did you think? Did you see any stamps or dies that tickled your craft fancy? Today, I am sharing two cards that are sure to put a smile on your face. One, sarcastic. And the other, cute. A little something for everyone...
Okay, did the sarcastic card put a smile on your face because you can relate? I know I can. The sarcastic chick was perfect for this card. I mean really, look at the look on her face! Priceless! To create this card, I cut an 4 x 5.25 piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and masked of a circular shape using stamp masking paper. I then used the Bingworthy stamp set to stamp foodie images using Mushroom dye ink (you do not know how agonizingly long it took me to decide on this color. Seriously!) Once done, I stamped, colored and diecut the sarcastic chick. The new Mini Stripes-Harvest stamp and coordinating die was stamped onto Peaches 'n Cream, Pineapple, Mint Julep, Spearmint and Sugar Cube cardstock and with sentiments arranged accordingly. No Thanksgiving meal would be complete without a turkey. So, Little Bits-Turkey Dinner to the rescue...complete with drumstick.
The second card features the oh so cute Simply Smitten stamp set paired with the Foliage Background stamp.
I love trying to get the most out of my stamps and dies, and the Foliage Background stamp is no exception. The stamp's original design is a large bounty of foliage with a circular focal point. To create this foliage border instead, I masked off the stamp and then applied Mulled Wine, Pineapple, Sweet Potato Pie and Sweet Basil dye inks to a Sugar Cube card base. I then stamped, colored and diecut the cute images from the Simply Smitten stamp set. A cute sentiment and baker's twine complete this fall inspired card.
