Wahoo, Happy Release Day! I hope you have enjoyed stopping by the various designers and Taylored Expressions blogs showcasing the March Release. I love the spring and wedding mini-themes being showcased this month.
Today, I am sharing with you If Dogs Could Talk, a cute stamp set with coordinating die. This set features a dog with interchangeable facial expressions and punny sentiments for various occasions. Who wouldn't love a stamp set like this?
To design this card, I started by using Strathmore's mixed media paper and Tim Holtz's Distress Inks to create my clouds. Once I had the color I wanted, I die cut my clouds using the Build A Scene- Rolling Hills die. I just adore the stitched element of this die. The background is created by using Judikins Iridescent Embossing Powder, Taylored Expressions' Light Up the Night stamp set, and Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. I colored my sweet puppy with Copic makers and then die cut the image. The crescent moon is die cut using my go-to shapes dies, Spin It To Win It. I completed my card by layering the images using dimensional adhesive for depth, added a Doodlebug enamel heart, and stamped my sweet sentiment. Perfect!
Happy Hopping,
Keia
