JAS Challenge: Just a Little Distressing and Tearing, Please.

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,

Welcome to another weekly challenge at Just A Scrappin'. This week we are using various distressing techniques to create either a project, card, or layout. There are several techniques a crafter can use to distress a project. I am a fan of using Tim Holtz's distressing tool. I created this card for a dear friend who is moving to Japan soon. I will miss her; she is a great crafting buddy.

I went with a travel theme and using a little distressing was the perfect complement for this card. The Urban Traveler collection by Simple Stories is my go to travel collection. I used the chipboard as faux-flair, along with an airplane wooden veneer from Sutdio Calico. However, my card would not be complete without the cute sentiment from Winne The Pooh, which is from Unity Stamp Co.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Shopping Our Stash: Miss You
Karen Giron's blog The Sweetest Thing: Sweet Sunday Sketch No. 201

Don't forget to stop by the Just A Scrappin' blog to view the projects of my fellow design team members.

Thank you for stopping by,

K
