Seize the Sketch #11: One Heart to Hold

Monday, January 13, 2014

Hello Fellow Cardmakers, Crafters, and Scrappers,

Today, I am playing along with Seize the Sketch. I love a good challenge. And this year, I promised myself I would find new challenges and play along. I am off to a good start! This week is Sketch #11.

I love the simplicity of this sketch. I used several layers on this card and dug into my scrapbooking stash to see what embellishments needed to see the light. I found several glassine bags from Making Memories (I have had these for over a year and have not used a single one) and filed one with hearts. I completed the card with red twine, an Authentique ticket and rose ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by.

I am also entering this card in the Shopping Our Stash Challenge: Use Something New

Card Size: A2
Card Supplies:

Paper: Recollection (Valentine), Imaginsce (stash)
Embellishment: American Crafts (jute), The Paper Studio (ribbon flower), Authentique (ticket), Making Memories (glassine envelopes), Studio Calico (heart veneer), Hobby Lobby (clothes pin), Tim Holtz (glitter glue)
EK Success: heart Punch
