Hello Crafty Peeps,

Well, what did you think of Taylor's video on the new TE Blender Brushes? Today, the Creative Team is back with more Blending Brush inspiration featuring embossing.

Embossing is a wonderful technique that can add a subtle or bold impact to any project depending upon the embossing powder color you use. To make this card shine and show the variations in the color palette, I chose to use clear embossing powder that added just the right amount of impact. To create this card, I started by taking an A2 sized piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and using a Moroccan inspired color palette--Eggplant, Blueberry, Cookie Monster, Lollipop and Sweet Potato Pie--began to blend the colors together. The TE Blending Brushes provided just the right amount of coverage as I added one color on top of the next, being mindful to not allow to much overlap between the Cookie Monster and Lollipop dye ink so as to not create purple. I then embossed my panel using the Mandala  Background 2 stamp and clear embossing powder. A floral bouquet of Zinnias, a glittered-gold 'Hello,' and a few gold inky splatters completes this card.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! White space is my design nemesis. I always struggle to have just the right balanced amount. Happy Crafting!
