Let's Get Ready To Party...Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek: Day 1

Happy Monday Taylored Expressions Fans and Crafty Friends!

It feels like forever, because well, it has been awhile! I have missed all of my crafty friends. I took some much needed time off to concentrate on my family. However, I am excited to be back here with you and in the craft room. Today, marks day one of Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Week! Yeah! Are you ready to be creatively blown away by the TE Creative Team? If your answer is yes, then pull up a chair and grab your favorite beverage, because we are sharing swinging bunnies and spreading kindness.

The On a Hinge-Chick is the latest addition to the On the Hinge collection, and just in time for Easter. This swinging bunny in sure to swing right into your heart and brighten your day. To create this card, I stamped, colored with Copic markers and die cut the bunny image. The hinge mechanism works by using the On the Hinge die with the On the Right Track Discs and foam adhesive. I used two squares of foam to make sure I had enough clearance for the legs to swing freely. There cannot possibly be an Easter bunny without eggs, right? The ombre eggs were inked using Cookie Monster/Sprinkles, Jelly Donut/Lavender Glaze and Candy Corn. The eggs' detailing is applied using Sugar Cube ink. A cluster of spring blooms complete this card.

My second project features the Geo Quad Background paired with Plant Kindness stamp and coordinating die.

I love when you can use geometric shapes to add interest to a background without over powering the focal point. The Geo Quad Background is a large stamp with four distinct geometric backgrounds. You can use the stamp as one large multi-geometric background stamp or cut the stamp into distinct backgrounds, as I have done here. The new Kindess Script die and coordinating mixed media backer, sit on top of a cluster of watercolored abstract flowers from the Floral Frenzy stamp/die set. A complimentary sentiment and ink splatters compete this card.

Thank you for stopping by. Don't forget to head over to the Taylored Expressions Blog (HERE), for more information regarding the products used, and inspiration from the Creative Team. And as with each new release, answer Taylor's Question of the Day for a chance to win a fabulous gift from this month's release! The February release will be available on Thursday, February 7.
