Taylored Expressions Release Day! Ink, Stamp, and be Merry!

Happy Release Day!!!

Today, I am sharing my last two projects featuring Build a Gingerbread along with coordinating Gingerbread Attire, and Cutting Edge-Trees.

I just adore any stamp or die that starts with the title "Build a..." The Build a Gingerbread is no exception. This cute die set offers plenty of ideas for creative inspiration. Members of the Creative Team used the die set to create a festive gingerbread garland, felt ornaments and of course, fun Christmas cards.

To create this card, I started by die cutting the gingerbread man from TE Woodgrain cardstock and another layer from Oreo cardstock. The Woodgrain gingerbread man was overlaid onto the Oreo piece to create and inset smiley face. The gingerbread attire was die cut from Sugar Cube, Cilantro and Cherry Pop cardstock. The new Petite Scallop Oval Stacklets pair nicely with the Stitched Oval Stacklets. The Twiggy Background stamp, inked with Cilantro dye ink, adds a festive touch to an A2 top-folding card base.

For a little added Christmas humor. You know those gingerbread cookies are irresistible. Right?

My second card features the Cutting Edge-Trees paired with Woodland Silhouette 1.

To create this card, I inked a Sugar Cube panel with Mulled Wine ink and the new Scandinavian Christmas Background stamp. The Cutting Edge-Trees, is a separate panel, which was inked, stamped, die cut and colored with Copic markers. A simple sentiment and reindeer silhouette complete this card.
