Celebrating Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday Bash

Happy Thursday Taylored Expression Fans and Crafty Friends!

Did you enjoy yesterdays's blog hop? How wonderful to see so many designers sharing their love of papercrafting. I loved seeing projects from the Baker's Dozen Team and other former Taylored Expressions Alumni.

Today, I am sharing a birthday card featuring the very funny sentiment set, Inside Scoop-Belated Birthday. More times then not, I am late with  mailing my birthday card to my loved ones. Well now, with this witty stamp set, they will know that my tardiness is because I was being sensitive to their needs or saving the planet, or just wanting to prolong their birthday celebration for just a little bit longer. Either way, I had them in mind, not my hmmm...lack of time-management. You get the idea. Right?

To create this card, I started by cutting and folding little pieces of cardstock, which would act as birthday cards using Sprinkles, Guava, Lemon Meringue, Potato Chip, Cookie Monster, Pink Champagne, Lime Zest and Peapod. I then stamped, colored and die cut the sweet little hippopotamus from the Peek-a-Boo Birthday stamp and coordinating die set. The Party Streamers stamp set provides the perfect, colorful background for the cute critter. A simple Happy Birth Day sentiment from the Inside Scoop - Birthday, completes the outside of this card. The sentiment inside, was stamped and the word 'me' was colored with Copic markers. A few extra cards, for good measure, complete the inside of the card and ties the birthday theme together.
