Here's to another chance to play along at Unity's Friends with Flair. I love breaking out my Unity stamps and letting the creativity flow. My card is inspired by an awesome card I found on Karen Giron's blog. I loved the elements Karen used on her card and thought to myself, "How can I create something similar? I don't own one darn product Karen used to make her card!" Oh the dilemma, my dear friends. Really, I could go buy the products (my first choice) or do the responsible thing--use what I already have. I chose the latter of course, and my bank account thanks me for it. However, I digress.
I went in search of a camera and picture frame in my scrapping arsenal and came across a Cricut cartridge I just had to have, but have only used one other time. CTMH's Artbooking cartridge has a lot of wonderful elements/icons to die-cut. The secret is in embellishing my die-cuts to add depth and dimension. I cut each die-cut several times, added various papers to the negative spaces and a little glossy accents to add shine. Unity's Just a Little Clicky stamp acts as the perfect background stamp to complete my card.
Thank you for stopping by. And don't forget to check out the awesome projects and cards on Unity's Friends with Flair blog post.
