Happy Birthday!!

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Did you make it into your craft room this weekend? My new crafting goodies arrived. I was able to look, but no playing. I plan on changing that during the upcoming days.

Today, I am sharing a birthday card featuring the Big Bold Balloon stencil from Taylored Expressions. I could make birthday cards all the time. I never have enough of these in my card stash. One down...yeah, a lot more to go =)

I created this card by inking a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with a rainbow of TE dye ink colors (Guava, Cherry Pop, Sweet Potato Pie, Peaches 'n Cream, Potato Chip, Pineapple, Lime Zest, Granny Smith, Lavender Glaze, Jelly Donut, Cookie Monster, and Confetti Cake). Using the TE Blending Brushes, along with the stencil, made blending colors and adding shading a breeze. Once the back ground was complete, I used the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate to create a framed border for my shaker card. A few Snow Flurries sequins and a bold HAPPY paired with the Simple Stripes sentiments completes this card.

Thank you for visiting. I hope this card has inspired you to create a few blended backgrounds for your handmade cards. For more inspiration, visit the TE Blog (HERE).

Happy Crafting,

Keia
