Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 3:

Happy Wednesday Taylored Expressions Fans and Crafty Friends,

Welcome to another day of inspiration from the TE Creative Team. Today, I am showcasing Fluffy Friends, Binge Worthy, and a new stencil-Topsy Turvy.

I enjoy cards that feature humor, and the Fluffy Friends paired with Binge Worthy fits the bill. To create this card, I stamped, die cut and colored my images with Copic markers and colored pencils. The use of white makes a great background for focusing attention on stamped images, but can feel a little stark. Using a splash of color, in this case Granny Smith, to anchor the images is a great way to tame the white space. I love die cutting and finding new ways to get more out of my dies. The Spin Cycle die turned wash machine into refrigerator, completes this fun card. Time to grab a snack, right?

My second card features a new addition to the stencil collection, Topsy Turvy. Stencils are a great way to add a striking background to a project with minimal bulk. Stencils can be used with inks, sprays, embossing powder, and paste; the medium options are only limited by your creativity and crafty stash.

To create this card, I used Chocolate Truffle dye ink to sponge the stencil image onto Toffee cardstock. Using the Pumpkin Bouquet stamp, paired with So Many Thanks, is a great addition to this geometric background. A few inky splatters add a little interest and sparkle.
