Frantic Stamper: Enjoy the Journey

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope your Christmas was fantastic! Did you receive some new stamps and dies to add to your fabulous crafty stash? I hope you did. Today, I am sharing a card featuring the new Elegant Journey (FRA-DIE-10360) and World Map (FRA-DIE-10356) dies from Frantic Stamper.

Creating this card was a design departure for me. However, it was fun to peer into my Tim Holtz stash and play around with stencils, chipboard pieces and the like. To create this card, I die cut the World Map die from Sweet Basil and Toffee cardstock. I paper-pieced the die cut pieces back together and inked the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink. The Statue of Libery die (FRA-DIE-09519), was die cut twice and inked using the new Distress Oxide, Cracked Pistachio. The Elegant Journey die is die cut three times and glued together to add dimension without adding bulk. Ranger's Glossy Accents is added for shine. A distressed tag, twine and a little stenciling (using the Splatters stencil) complete this fun card.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you have a chance to make it into your craft rooms to play with your new Christmas goodies. I am hoping I can do the same (wink, wink). For more information on products and creative inspiration, visit the Frantic Stamper webstore (HERE) and the blog (HERE).

Happy Crafting,
