Happy Monday! It is so AWESOME to be in the company of my crafty friends and family again! We moved over the summer and now our family is finally settling into a routine and our new home. Whew! It is great to have a chance to craft again. Seriously, I was going through crafting withdrawal!
Today, begins Taylored Expressions' August release week. Are you ready to be spooktacularly inspired?
This funny card features the new Peek-a-Boo Halloween stamp and coordinating dies. I love the funny Halloween-themed sentiments from this stamp set. To create this card, I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets to die cut a focal point and then used scene building dies to design a ghost town (Ghost Town Border, Spooky Clouds and Haunted Accessories). The background is created using Jelly Donut, Dijon, and Candy Corn dye inks. A funny sentiment, using white embossing powder completes this card.
The second card features the on trend Build an Emoji die set.
This card was so much fun to make as I channeled some serious Emoji love. To create this card, I started by using the Build an Emoji die set to design a fun emoji. The dies, Little Bits - Let's Talk Bubbles 2 & 3 are perfect speech bubbles for this set. Using coordinating pastel colors: Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Milkshake, Sprinkles, Lollipop, Salt Water Taffy and Pink Champagne paired with Poppy Seed cardstock allowed the words to pop off the card. A sentiment from the You Make Me Smile stamp set and TE Enamel Shapes complete this encouraging, fun card.
Thank you for stopping by. However, the fun is not over yet! There is more inspiration to be had, visit the TE blog for a full listing of participating designers. As with each new TE release, there are fun questions and prizes to be won. Visit the TE blog HERE, for a chance to answer Taylor's Question of the Day.
Happy Crafting,
Keia
