Well, what did you think? Are you ready for spring? Did we help jump-start your creativity? Today, I am sharing the Handlettered Easter, Big Blooms-Lily and Pretty Poises Background.
The Big Blooms-Lily, paired with the Handlettered Easter, creates a dramatic Easter card. To create this card, I colored the Big Blooms-Lily with Copic markers and then used Faber Castell's Polychromo colored pencils to add my highlights and shading. A white colored pencil, applied over the colored image, blends the colors together for a flawless look. The handlettered "Alleluia" is heat embossed using white embossing powder onto vellum paper. And the Bold Lace Cutting Plate adds an elegant touch to the background.
Embellishing the inside your card with The Inside Scoop-Easter Blessings adds a beautiful finishing touch.
My second project features the Pretty Poises Background stamp paired with a few spring and Easter Little Bits favorites.
To create this card, I first inked a Sugar Cube panel with Fruit Punch, Strawberry Milkshake and Pink Champagne dye inks. Once the panel was inked, I stamped the Pretty Poises Background using VersaMark and heat embossed the image using white embossing powder. The spring floral cluster, with a chocolate Easter Bunny, used the Little Bits-Chocolate Bunny and Little Bits-Easter Basket. The handlettered "Easter Blessings" sentiment completes this card.
