Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1: Simply Jesus

Happy Monday Taylored Expressions Fans and Fellow Crafters,

Welcome to Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek, Day 1! Can you believe that Christmas is quickly approaching? If you have young children, like I do, you are reminded at least on a weekly basis of the dwindling days. Today, I am here to get you into the Christmas mood! I know, some of us have yet to have a fall season. However, the time to make handmade Christmas cards is upon us. Bring out the stamps, dies, glitter, bits and bobbles!

Today's cards feature Words of Faith Christmas, Blooming Holiday Cutting Plate and Handlettered Holiday.

The new Words of Faith Christmas and Blooming Holiday Cutting Plate makes cardmaking easy and with stunning results. To create this card, I die cut the Blooming Holiday Cutting Plate from Chocolate Truffle cardstock and used the Words of Faith Christmas to stamp my sentiment with VersaMark and heat set it with TE's gold embossing powder. A Christmas floral bouquet, using the Holiday Florals stamp and coordinating die set, and an angel, heralding the coming of our Lord and Savior completes this card.

My second project features the on trend handlettering stamp set, Handlettered Holiday.

I love the beautiful script used for this set, and it makes one's Christmas cards look so elegant. To create this card, I used the Ornaments Overlays to create several ornament scenes featuring the Little Bits-Manger, a script ornament and ornaments with scroll detailing. The new Blueberry cardstock makes for a bold color palette. The Snowflake Cutting Plate was embossed onto the Blueberry cardstock to add dimension and texture to the background.
