One more day until release day! What are your thoughts so far on this month's release? Have you picked out a new stamp or die from the new release to play with? Today, I am sharing two cards featuring On the Road Station Wagon and Handlettered Holiday paired with Buffalo Plaid Background stamp.
Here is a secret about myself, I love all things vintage! I attend our local vintage market days faithfully every time it rolls into town. Today's cards reflect the simpler times of just enjoying the Christmas season with family and friends.
To create this card, I die cut the On the Road Station Wagon dies from Cherry Pop, Mulled Wine, Woodgrain, Oreo, Earl Grey and Build A Scene cardstock. I adhered the pieces together to create my station wagon and then laid it aside. The card's front uses the TE Wreath Cutting Plate. I die cut the plate using Sweet Basil and Toffee cardstock and paper-pieced the resulting die cut together. The Holiday Florals (coordinating stamps and dies) is a Christmas staple in my craft room. I used the stamps and dies to make a floral bouquet. A muted background, from Playful Patterns-Savory, and a simple sentiment complete this card.
Card Supplies:
Card number two is a simpler design that is perfect for making mass produced Christmas cards. I will admit, I have never mass produced a card, but after tackling this design challenge, I think I might just do this again in the future.
To create these cards, I started by stamping Blueberry and Cherry Pop A2 card panels with the new Buffalo Plaid Background stamp. This is where having a MISTI is a wonderful tool to have to stamp my images. I then stamped and die cut the TE Snow Globe. The sentiment Merry & Bright from the Hanndlettered Holiday stamp set fits perfectly. A small Christmas bouquet completes this card.
A surprise awaits inside. Featuring the new Gift Card Pop Up die and On A Hinge-Santa.
The gift card is from Sephora. I thought the sentiment, "Better not POUT" was perfect.
