Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks...Calendar Love 3x4 Size

Happy Monday Taylored Expressions Fans,

Today is Halloween and the start of TE's Sneak Peek Week! Awesomeness is coming your way today in the form of candy and crafty goodness. What more can a person ask for, right? Today, I am sharing with you Taylored Expressions' 2017 3x4 Calendar (January-June), Flowers For A Year, and Build A Scene Calendar 2. Whew, that's a lot, but I am sure you will enjoy the creative inspiration.

Honestly, I use the 3x4 calendar cards for my Project Life scrapbooking. However, this is the first time I used the cards for a project. And you know what? I loved it. Each 3x4 card is like its own miniature canvas. To create this calendar set, I used a few more TE favorites: the Daisy Bouquet, Love You More, Stitched Circle and Stitched Oval Stacklets along with the Little Bits - Umbrella. The idea, was to keep the cards simple, but add special touches that make each unique. I used the Build A Scene Calendar 2 dies to create mats and scenes for each of my flower bouquets. The various mix of pattern, colored and textured paper added visual interest.

The first pairing of cards opens the calendar set with the Daisy Bouquet colored with Copic markers, die cut and then matted on a 3x4 acetate piece. The sentiment from the Be Still stamp collection is stamped on vellum and then adhered to the acetate. What a wonderful way to start the New Year with an uplifting scripture on thankfulness, right? The January card uses a flower arrangement from the Flowers For A Year set matted on a die cut piece from the Build A Scene Calendar 2 set.

The Love You More stamp/die combination was perfect for February...the month of love. While March and April celebrates flowers that will soon pop up in the springtime.

May's calendar illustrates how easy it is  to use Little Bits dies as a focal piece and pair it with a bouquet of hydrangeas. With the sun's rays in full effect, cacti present the perfect floral arrangement for June.

There are many different ways for displaying the new TE 3x4 calendar. The possibilities are varied and only limited by your imagination. The display I am using is a wooden display box that my husband built and painted for me. However, the other designers from the TE Creative Team showcase other creative ways for displaying and gifting these petite and 5x7 calendars.

Well, that is it for me today. Thank you for stopping by. Be sure to visit the Taylored Expressions Blog for more creative inspiration from the Creative Design Team and a chance to win wonderful prizes from the November Release by answering Taylor's Question of the Day. You will be glad you did!

Happy Crafting,
