Taylored Expressions' December Release....

Happy Thursday Taylored Expressions Fans,

Wahoo! Release Day is here! Bring out the hearts, chemistry sets, sassy critters, and more, because Valentine's Day is here! I know, you are probably thinking, "What? Valentine's Day, already?" The answer is YES! Once Christmas is over, Valentine's Day is just a hop, skip and two months away. The day celebrating love really does sneak up on a person. So to make sure you are not caught without a card for your special someone, come and share the love with the Taylored Expressions' Design Team and be inspired!

Today, I am serving up a loving (or maybe not) helping of Grumpling love. This might not be the first time you have seen these rascals. Earlier in the year, the Party Grumplings appeared. I don't know about you, but for me it was love at first sight. I loved the facial expressions and pithy sentiments of that stamp/die collection. So when the Valentine Grumplings debuted, well I was all in =)

I will be honest, it was hard for me to choose one Grumpling to spotlight on my card. I went back and forth between the piggy and the raccoon. The pig won. I love the sentiment..."try again, cupid (your aim stinks!)" I could just image the numerous arrows from cupid's bow littering the ground as this nimble little piggy avoids the onslaught. LOL. I used Cupid's Arrows to create the monochromatic layering of bows and hearts on the front. I then created a shaker window as one layer (filled with Doodlebug sequins and more hearts), with the piggy in another layer using Label Stacklet No. 6. I used several papers from Taylored Expressions' Formula For Love (Matched Collection)including the bold, rich red of Cherry Pop. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment using Ranger's Archival Ink and my card was complete.

Thank you for stopping by to share a little Grumpling love with me, my crafting friends! However, the fun is not over.  For more inspiration and product information, headed over to the Taylored Expressions' blog for a complete listing of participating designers. You will be glad you did!

Smiles,

Keia
