Happy Wednesday Craft Friends!
I am popping in to share a Christmas card, fitting for Christmas in July. Right? I know the Christmas season seems so far away, especially if you are creating Christmas cards when it is 93 degrees in the shade. However, what a wonderful way to get the creative juices flowing and have a little time to plan this year's Christmas cards.
Today's card features a few Taylored Expressions oldies, but goodies. It has been a hot minute since I have played with pattern paper, and using the TE Build a Scene-Christmas pattern paper added a different twist to my normal creative routine. The card also uses the Critters on Ice stamp and coordination die set.
To create this card, I used the Nordic Snowflake stencil with Sprinkles and Salt Water Taffy dye ink to create a beautiful winter background on Sugar Cube cardstock. The ice skating scene came together quickly with the Build a Scene-Central Park die collection and Build a Scene-Christmas pattern paper. A duo of ice skating critters, skating by with a "Merry Chrismoose" and red twine completes this fun Christmas card.
I hope this card has inspired you to head into your craftroom for a little Christmas in July. For more inspiration, visit the Taylored Expressions Blog (HERE).
Happy Crafting and Merry Chrismoose!
