Happy 10th Birthday Taylored Expressions!

Happy Tuesday Taylored Expressions Fans and Crafty Friends,

This evening Taylored Expressions kicked off their 10th birthday celebration with a livestreaming video on Facebook! All the birthday goodies you had a chance to see and be inspired by, are available for purchase TONIGHT! The party continues with a reunion of past and present designers to wish TE a Happy Birthday on Wednesday and more inspiration in the days to follow. This is going to be a birthday-filled and joyous celebration of community and sharing joy. Fellow card markers, like you, will have an opportunity to share in TE's mission of sharing joy by creating and donating handmade cards to nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in the US. Be on the look out for more details to follow on this blog and at Taylored Expresssions.

Today's cards feature Celebrate Big and Celebrate Script and Backer dies.

I love birthday stamps and sentiments. There is something so creatively satisfying when you create a special birthday card for a loved one. The care that goes into picking just the right stamps, dies and color palette, personalized for your loved one, is sure to put a smile on their face. The new additions from the September release are sure to be future crowd-pleasers that pair perfectly with previously released stamps and die.

I am always in need of masculine birthday cards, and this bold and eye-catching color palette is sure to wow the men in my family. I paired the Celebrate Script and Backer die with One in a Buzzillion and Up, Up and Away Cutting Plate for a fun, vibrant shaker card. The Word Search-Birthday Background is stamped in Earl Grey ink, keeping the background fun, but understated. The cute little elephant is the perfect messenger for sending birthday wishes.

Card project number two features the new Celebrate Big stamp and coordinating Celebrate Big Balloon Shaker.

Shaker cards are fun to make and receive, so creating this pastel balloon bouquet is perfect for sharing birthday wishes. The Celebrate Big Balloon Shaker die is paired with the previously released Bold Balloons, Curly Q Cutting Plate and Take A Number embossing folder. To create the pastel ombre background, I cut a 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and used Clarity Stencil Brushes to ink the panel using Confetti Cake, Strawberry Milkshake and Potato Chip inks. I then die cut the panel using the Curly Q Cutting Plate. Another Sugar Cube panel is dry embossed using the Take A Number embossing folder and the two panels are adhered together. The balloon bouquet is centered with the balloon shaker element as the focal point. A twine bow and string for the balloon, completes this card.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you had a wonderful time watching Taylor's video. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow as we continue to celebrate Taylored Expressions 10th birthday!
