Welcome to day 2 of the August release. I hope you have been enjoying the spooktacular creations so far. Today, I am showcasing two cards featuring the new Skinny Mini Halloween Borders and Little Bits - Candelabra.
I am enjoying the addition of the new Skinny Mini Halloween Borders to the By the Fireside collection for creating cute seasonal scenes. To create this card, I used the Sitting Pretty Halloween Accessories and Simply Stamped-Pumpkins to complete this Halloween scene. Using a Halloween color palette of Oreo, Sugar Cube, Peapod, and the TE Build A Scene Halloween paper pack brings the scene to colorful life. Trick or Treat, my crafty friends.
The second card uses the new Little Bits-Candelabra with other TE Halloween-themed dies.
I used the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to create a focal point for the scene using damask embossed Jelly Donut cardstock. I die cut the candelabra three times from Oreo, Pumpkin, and Sugar Cube cardstock and paper-pieced the die cut back together. The Simply Stamped Pumpkins, flying bats and spider webs finish the tableau. A sentiment stamped on vellum completes this card.
