Happy Tuesday Taylored Expressions Fans,
How did you like Day 1 of Sneak Peek week? Fabulous inspiration, right? A feast for the eyes =) Today, I am sharing two card projects using a few oldies, but goodies. First, is the Mama & Me stamp with the addition of the coordinating dies. Awesome, right? If you are like me, fussy cutting is not my best crafty skill.
To create this card, I die cut an A2 top-folding card from Pink Champagne cardstock and background panel for my design using Sugar Cube cardstock and the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting plate. I then used the Clarity Stencil Brushes to brush on a soft dye ink background using Pink Champagne and Potato Chip ink. The Falling Hearts Cutting Plate was used to create a stencil, by die cutting the image using acetate and applying Cosmic Shimmer embossing paste. The stamped image was colored with Copic markers and then die cut using the new coordinating Mama and Me dies. The sentiment "Sweet" was die cut several times using Sugar Cube cardstock and then pieced together. The "Sweet Little One" sentiment was stamped using Earl Grey ink for a softer look. A little baker's twine completes this card.
Card number two brings back the Crafty Grumplings and well, he is at it again...
Ok, seriously, who doesn't feel like this after having created a masterpeice? Uh, yeah! Nailed It! I love the Crafty Grumplings and the addition of the Little Bits - Paint Palette and Little Bits - Paint Brushes is a perfect opportunity to let the Grumplings out and kick it up a notch=) To create this card, I started by inking a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with Salt Water Taffy ink to soften the background. Next, I used the Stitched Circle Stacklet to die cut a focal point. The artist's canvas and easel is from the When Your Heart Speaks stamp set, and another Grumpling was stamped onto the canvas and colored with Copic markers. A few ink splatters adds to the creative chaos. Once the paint palette and brushes were assembled, it was time to adhere them to the Sugar Cube panel and mount the panel onto an A2 Oreo card base.
I hope you have enjoyed today's sneak peeks and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. However, the fun is not over yet.
