Today's card is inspired by Jen Shults' Deconstructed Sketch No. 204. I just had to play along this week as we say good-bye to the Deconstructed Sketch. I have enjoyed receiving Jen's weekly sketch inspiration in my email inbox for the past year and a half. Jen's sketches are a wonderful way to get excited about trying a new card design and playing with paper. I want to thank Jen for all she has done. It is because of Jen, I was introduced to Taylored Expressions and many other wonderful designers. Thank you for inspiring me, Jen, and helping me to become a better card designer. I will miss your weekly sketches. Best of luck on your new crafting journey =)
Today's card is also based on the inspiration challenge found at Always Playing With Paper (I adore that moniker). I took the opportunity to continue nurturing my color skills, and decided to use my Stampin' Up watercolor pencils that had been collecting dust in my craft room =( The delightful tea stamp set is from Taylored Expressions' In Other Words-Tea.
Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting.
Smiles,
Keia
