Today, I am sharing with you my last card featuring products from the May release.
I love the new Downtown Border die. When I first laid eyes upon it, I immediately thought of a night scene with a full moon in the back lighting the cityscape. To create my card, I started by creating the night sky using the Distress Ink colors Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, and Black Soot. I then used the Starry Night Cutting Plate to create the starlit sky, being careful to leave the stars in the die cut panel. I pulled out my go to shapes die, Spin It To Win It, to die cut the full moon from the panel. Once this was complete, I applied a piece of vellum and stamped the Missing You sentiment from the Pieces of My Heart stamp and die combination. I added my tiered city skyline and an enamel heart and my card was complete.
