Happy Monday Fellow Taylored Expressions Fans,
I have had an awesome time showcasing this month's fabulous release and new Matched Line (which is sure to make coordinating one's color palette even easier). I hope you had a chance to visit the Taylored Expressions gallery for more crafting inspiration.
My last card uses the fun Little Bits Halloween dies, which coordinate nicely with the Pocket & Pages 3x4 Circle Showcase die. I created my own Halloween paper by heat embossing spooky sentiments on Pumpkin cardstock. A cute little ghost (Critters in Costume stamp set), glittery spiders and pattern, paper fun and my Boo Spooktacular card was complete.

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends,
Can you believe Halloween is nearly at our doorsteps? Soon there will be little ninjas, Transformers, and Darth Vaders asking for a "Trick or Treat." My family loves Halloween, so when this month's Taylored Expressions Halloween collection was released, it found a treasured spot in my craft room. I created this card using this small, but very versatile stamp, Spooky Cat.
Spooky Cat is a great stamp that allows you to create a scene, as I did here, or make the image the focus of your card or project (for more inspiration, view the Taylored Expressions' gallery). I used watercolor paper and distress ink pads to create a multicolored background for my embossed image, along with bold pattern papers from Taylored Expressions' new Matched Line, Hocus Pocus. I then used various Taylored Expressions dies to create my scene. A few embellishments and my card was complete.

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Scrapers,
Is it just me or is this week flying by? Ok, let's be honest, this year is flying by! Fall is here! Wahoo! Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the winter clothes, crisp weather, time with family indoors, I could go on and on about fall. Happy Fall, my crafty friends!
Ok, now that I was able to welcome in a new season...it's time to craft! This week's challenge is to create a shaker or window card using a color and theme of your choice. I chose to create a window card. I realized while making my card that I use a lot of frames, but not windows. So, I used the negative space from one of my dies and got to work.

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Welcome to another great challenge at Just A Scrappin' . This week's challenge is to FINALLY use that beloved, crafting goodie that has been stashed away for too long.
I know I am not the only crafter out here who falls in love with the latest and greatest craft item that I just have to have and then it just sits...unused and loved! I came across this stamp set from Lil' Inker and well, I just had to have it! I dreamed about the awesome cards I would create and then nothing. Well, no more! It's time for this stamp set to see the light.

Hello Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a chance to hop on over to the Taylored Expression's blog to check out the September Release, partake of the birthday festivities and find more crafty inspiration. If not, please hop on over, you will not be disappointed!
This week's post features one of the new Mischief Marker stamps, Carried Away. I could not wait to try coloring this cute stamp with Copic markers. I am still working on my coloring skills, and this is the first time I colored an image with an individual. Yikes! However, I am really happy with the way she turned out.

Hello Fabulous Crafters and Scrappers,
Do you know what today is? It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions! And even more exciting, Taylored Expressions is celebrating their 6th birthday with an AWESOME, September release filled with inspiration, a challenge sketch, and of course a crafting goodies giveaway (see below for details)! I love a good party!
Today, I am showcasing this adorable birthday card I created using the stamp sets And Many More along with Think Happy Thoughts. I liberally sprinkled my card with a few pieces of confetti and balloons from the Little Bits Birthday dies. I just love the images in this set with its matching sentiments and the dies create the perfect embellishment.

Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to another wonderful challenge at Just A Scrappin'. This week, we are mad for markers! That's right, go ahead and break out your Copic, Spectrum Noir, and/or Distress Markers. It does not matter what markers you are using, just as long as your are coloring. What we do hope you do, is get into your craft room and create something beautiful and practice a coloring technique or two.
I am new to the coloring scene. However, I am slowly amassing a collection of Copic markers. I will write, the learning curve can feel pretty steep at times, but there are many wonderful tutorials and books available for one's edification. I created this card using a stamp from my ever-growing Unity Stamp collection. This little lovely has been patiently waiting for its debut, and well today is the day.

Happy Friday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,
Woohoo! I am so excited to be back within the crafting community. I took the month of August off to move. I cannot begin to describe how sad it was to pack my beloved tools, embellishments and PAPER! I had to live without my crafting goodies for a month. Oh, the horror of it all! However, unpacking the boxes labeled craft room, after a hiatus, was like welcoming home old friends.
To celebrate being back, I took full advantage of this week's Just A Scrappin' Challenge to get into my craft room and get creative. The challenge, is to create a card, project, or layout using fall colors. I was so happy to have my crafting items within reach that I decided to do a bit of everything: Copic marker coloring, embossing, using distress inks, die cutting and layering. Needless to write, I was able to play for an hour or so. It was marvelous!
