Happy Wednesday Taylored Expressions Fans and Crafty Friends,
Today, we are celebrating Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday with a Designer Reunion Blog Hop! You read correctly! Today, we are welcoming over 40 amazing designers, both past and present to today's celebration. This is a wonderful opportunity to stroll down memory lane and to be reintroduced to some of your favorite designers who have inspired you with their beautiful work. So grab your favorite beverage and hop along as we celebrate 10 years of sharing and spreading joy! (A full list of participating designers can be found at: www.tayloredexpressions.com/blog).
While my card for today might not be a birthday card, it is celebratory in nature. Happy New Year! This card features the new Caps Lock Happy die and coordinating Caps Lock Companion-Happy Holidays.
Happy Tuesday Taylored Expressions Fans,
Welcome to June's Stamp of the Month Hop. I hope you are enjoying some of the amazing creations thus far using this fabulous stamp and kit. I was so excited to have an opportunity to create with Bright Boutique and its coordinating die set; Hi, Hey, Hello. This stamp set is fun and versatile and the coordinating dies...well the phone is just, too, cute to put down. I designed this card by creating a collage foundation and then using various elements I cut from one of the pattern papers from Simple Stories', DIY Boutique paper pad. For my finishing touches, I added a few embellishments here and there from the coordinating sticker collection. Once completed, I had a fun card that was both bold and eye-catching.

Happy Tuesday Taylored Expressions Fans,
Welcome. Are you enjoying the Blog Hop so far? Hopefully, the Taylored Expressions Design Teams have whetted your creative appetite for May's Stamp of the Month. This month's stamp is not only perfect for spring and summer cards and projects, but also for trying out a variety of crafting techniques. Lately, I have been trying to improve my watercoloring skills (with limited success). Then the lovely Bloom & Grow stamp set, with its coordinating dies Hello Blooms, came along and it was a match made in crafting heaven. I immediately brought out my Tim Holtz distress inks pads, watercolor paper and palette and went to work. I had a blast with the creative process and seeing what worked and didn't. I love the finished card and I hope it inspires you to expand your crafting repertoire.

Happy Thursday!
I hope you are enjoying the Taylored Expressions and Faber-Castell Blog Hop thus far. As a team of designers we came together to share with you some AWESOME, crafty projects. Together, we have left no crafting stone unturned, creating cards, home decor projects and much more. For your creative enjoyment, I designed a home decor project.
I am enjoying the subway art trend and really wanted to give it a try. I loved creating this 12x12 home decor canvas to showcase the wonderful products from both Taylored Expressions and Faber-Castell. I used Taylored Expressions "Welcome Home" stamp set and "Build A House" die set along with several mixed media mediums from Faber-Castell. Using mixed media products was so much fun and easy to use. I applied gel medium to decoupage pages from a used book as the base for my project and then used gelatos to add a pop of color to the base. I had fun stamping cute little houses over the canvas once it was dry. Lastly, I applied the chalkboard paint in random swipes across the canvas and wrote out my quote. Creating the "Smith Family Home" was a great way to use all those random pieces of scrap paper I just couldn't part with and create a wonderful home accent piece in the process.
Good morning Taylored Expressions Fans,
Welcome to another fabulous Taylored Expressions' Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you have hopped over from Joan Ervin's blog, then you are in the right place. The April Stamp of the Month, Made with Love, is so much fun to work with. I fell in love with the cute buttons and spool of thread. For a little added interest, I used Taylored Expressions' Scribbles cutting plate to create a stencil, which I then applied Faber-Castell's whipped spackle to create a textured background. The cutting plate reminded me of loose thread. Just perfect for this card's theme. I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Made with Love stamp set and twine.

Good morning fellow crafters and scrappers,
What a wonderful way to start the week with a little crafting goodness from Taylored Expressions. I am excited to bring you March's Stamp of the Month, Take A Spin and Spin It To Win It (the coordinating die).

The stamp and matching die are perfect at helping you to create a card, project or layout for any occasion. I used the stamp and die, along with March's Key Ingredients kit, to create a vibrant and fun birthday card. I completed it with a little twine and added glitter for sparkle.
