Taylored Expressions is enjoying an extra crafty day in February with the release of its Mythical Grumplings! This cute stamp set is sure to have you thinking of creative cards featuring a Yeti, Unicorn, dragon and funny puns. To celebrate the occasion, I created a snowball throwing Yeti birthday card. One can never have too many birthday cards in their collection. =)
To make this card, I took an A2 sized-piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and used the Bold Balloons stencil to create a rainbow feast for the eyes. Colorful balloons, using a mix of TE dye inks, create an eye-popping background. Using the Caps Lock-YAY!, I created an eclipse effect to make the sentiment pop and stamped "Yeti or not...it's your birthday!" in Oreo ink. The stamped Yeti is colored using Copic markers and a white pom-pom added to throw at the birthday recipient. The Yeti did give a fair warning...Yeti or not...
