Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful time seeing all the amazing projects featuring goodies from the June release. Today, I have two water themed cards to share featuring Be a Mermaid and Rainbow Waves Background.
I love that this card is so happy and colorful. To create this card. I inked an A2 Sugar Cube panel using Guava, Candy Corn, Potato Chip, Lime Zest and Sprinkles dye inks. I then stamped the waves using the Build a Background-Waves with Salt Water Taffy dye ink. The coordinating wave die makes a perfect wave cut for my mermaid's tail. Aquatic foliage in beautiful shades of green, yellow and orange, along with a sweet sentiment completes this card.
The second card uses the Rainbow Waves Background paired with the previously released Tiki Time.
I started by heat embossing the stamped image using TE's white embossing powder onto Sugar Cube cardstock. I then applied Blueberry, Blue Raspberry and Confetti Cake to the heat embossed image. A cluster of tropical florals, tiki mask and sentiment completes this card.
