I hope you are all well and enjoying the start of a lovely week. I am over the moon. I now have more time to play in my craft room. I recently completed a financial accounting class. While I thoroughly enjoyed the class, I am looking forward to spending some creative time in my craft room. Bring on the stamps and dies!
Today's card is a collaboration between Taylored Expressions and PageMaps featuring the Build a Cake die set.
Using card layouts is a wonderful way to step outside your normal creative box. Card layouts encourage designers to play with pattern, shapes, layers and card orientation in new and inventive ways. To create this card, I die cut several layers and elements using Taylored Expressions Build A Cake, Bold Balloons, Tag Stacklets 2 and Mini Mix & Match Bows. I added a few extra touches to the tag by first inking a Sugar Cube cardstock panel with Strawberry Milkshake, Potato Chip, and Cupcake. The panel was die cut, then embossed using the Take A Number embossing folder. A sentiment and Sugar Cube enamel shapes complete this card.
