TE Designer's Choice: I'll Never Desert You!

Happy Tuesday, Crafty Friends!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. I enjoyed a little time in my craft room, and that always puts a smile on this mom's face. Today, I am sharing a card featuring the Lookin' Sharp stamp and die combination set. I adore this set, mainly because I am in LOVE with succulents and cacti. Such hardy, wonderful plants that offer hope to the garden-challenged. I wrote HOPE, because I killed my cactus so hope is lost on me. However, I can stamp, die cut and color one or two. =)

To create this card, I heat embossed the Mandala Background 2 onto Sugar Cube cardstock and used Distress Inks (Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey) to create an ombre effect. The Stitched Circle Stacklets die set was used to die cut a focal point into the embossed panel. I stamped, die cut and colored the two cacti using Copic markers and Dick Blicks' colored pencils. A flower from the Flower Box Sprigs & Flowers die set, sentiment and TE's Granny Smith enamel dots complete this card.

Thank you for visiting! For more inspiration using this stamp and die set, visit Taylored Expressions (HERE).

Happy Crafting,

Keia

  1. I love everything about this card - the colors - the hint of detail sponging around the mandala - the cute cacti! Fabulous!
