Hello Crafty Friends!
You made it! It's Official! Happy Release Day and Happy 9th Birthday to Taylored Expressions. Did you enjoy the scavenger hunt? Challenge? Today, we find out the lucky 9 winners from the sketch challenge. Good Luck to you all!
Today, I am sharing with you a fun birthday card featuring the Number Balloons dies and Curly Q Cutting Plate. I am in love with this cutting plate. Oh, the possibilities...
To create this card, I inked an A2 sized piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with Lavender Glaze, Potato Chip and Cupcake dye inks. I then die cut the panel using the Curly Q Cutting Plate. The Number Balloons dies are a great way to customize your card, in this case for a friend. I paired the Number Balloons with the Bold Balloons (stamp and die) and Build a Cake (die). A few enamel shapes complete this fun birthday card.

Card number 2 features the new Thanks Script die. I loved the rich colors from the Blooms Overlay, card, so I decided to create a masculine version of that card using the same color palette. If you are like me, you have very few masculine cards in your card stash. Any chance I have to create a masculine card, I will usually give it a try.
The background for this card is the Birch Tree Cutting Plate, which I inked using the new Mocha dye ink along with Toffee, Chocolate Truffle and Sugar Cube. The leaves use the same beautiful fall palette: Mulled Wine, Plum Punch, Dijon, Lemon Meringue to mention a few. The "Thanks Script" is die cut from Mulled Wine cardstock and a layer of Glossy Accents has been applied to give it a beautiful shine. A few bronze sequins from the Taylored Expressions Wedding collection complete this card.
Thank you for visiting all this week! It was wonderful having you and helping Taylored Expressions celebrate their 9th birthday. For more crafty inspiration and information regarding the September release, visit the TE Blog (HERE).
Happy Crafting
