Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1: Happy Bloomin' Birthday To You! and Hello

Happy New Year Taylored Expressions Fans,

Today kicks off Release Week!  You are in for a treat as the Taylored Expressions Creative Team helps unveil this month's release. I am sharing the Bloomin' Birthday stamp and die combination, and the newest addition to the Script Collection, Hello Script.

The Bloomin' Birthday stamp and die creates beautiful, quick and easy birthday cards. The floral stamps could be used to create a colorful background, or in this case, a delicate bouquet. To create this card, I sponged Salt Water Taffy ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock. The flower stems were stamped in a diagonal fashion using Peapod. Next, the blooms were stamped in Cherry Pop, Dijon, Potato Chip, Lavender Glaze, and Plum Punch. I was not concerned with masking and just had fun inking and stamping. I stamped and die cut three additional blooms that I later adhered with foam dimensionals. The flower petals are from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp and coordinating die set, and stamped in Granny Smith dye ink. Adding ethereal butterflies, die cut from vellum, and Nuvo Crystals (Dandelion Yellow) to the flowers' centers complete the card panel. I then adhered this to a Sprinkles cardstock A2 card base embossed with the Kaleidoscope embossing folder.

My second card features the Hello Script die. I love die sentiments because they make for elegant cards.

To create this card, I die cut the Hello sentiment from Watermelon and Potato Chip cardstock and staggered the layers. The shaker sentiment uses the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die cut from Blue Corn cardstock and filled with sequins from the Rainbow Brights and Snow Flurries collection along with light red beads from my shaker material stash. This card created the perfect opportunity to pair it with a TE classic, Hi, Hey, Hello die set. The telephone is too cute! A little Glossy Accents added to the heart center complete this fun shaker card.

Thank you for stopping by today; however the fun is not over. Head over to the Taylored Expressions Blog for more crafty inspiration from the Creative Team. And if that was not enough, as with every TE release, if you answer Taylor's Question of the Day, you have a chance to win AWESOME crafty goodies from this release. Wahoo!

Happy Crafting,

Keia
