Happy Valentine's Day, Crafty Friends!
The "day of love" snuck up on me with a quickness! Good thing I have been turning out a few love notes here and there. Last week, I received a few goodies from Scrapbook.com and it was filled with the cutest love-themed stamps and stencils. I made time to play with the new Love stencil and the cute critters from Avery Elle's Island Time. I feel like I should take a triumphant heart-shaped lap for being on time with a card...hold my supplies for me.
I love when a crafting session pushes me to pair items in unexpected ways. I purchased the Island Time stamp and die set last summer and never had a chance to use it. I hope you understand that purchasing craft supplies is its own hobby, right? At least that is what I tell myself. The critters are so adorable, and I imagined the set can be used for other occasions outside of a sunny, island scene.
With supplies in hand, it was time to start creating my card. Using a white, A2 panel I inked the stencil using black ink. I then used a masking stencil to add the heart using varying shades of red. The Festive Alpha die set is perfect for creating my own sentiments. I diecut the letters three times each using black cardstock, and for the final layer added black glitter cardstock for a little sparkle. The ampersand has an additional white shadow layer for a little pop. The Copic-colored critters complete this cute card. I consider this a wrap.
Thank you for spending a portion of your day with me. I hope you have a wonderful day doing what brings joy to your heart. Sending Hugs...

Good morning, Crafty Friends!
The month of August is quickly coming to a close; however, there is still a little time left to participate in the August Challenge| Stripes. As always, creatives can use the theme, color palette, or both as a starting point. Either way, we hope you are inspired and join us for this month's challenge, which ends on August 31st.
Okay, let me be honest, it would have never occurred to me to pair together the colors from this month's color palette. However, I am blown away at how well these colors play off one another. And by using the colors in a geometric design the colors really pop. So this is a color palette that I will be keeping in my list of go-to's. To create this card, I started by stamping the Nested Diamonds, at an angle, onto white cardstock using the Regal Kiss, Candy Apple, Ballet Slipper, and Olive dye inks. I set the panel to the side to dry because the red ink has a tendency to smear if you try to immediately start manipulating it. Lesson learned on my part. I then created my floral cluster using the Blossoms and Berries collection and added a few bits of greenery using the Curvy Leaves die. Once the panel was completely dry, I used the Shaker Tags dies to create an inset focal point to nestle my bouquet into. And the stitching adds such a lovely touch to the stamped panel. A sentiment and a jewel-studded butterfly completes this card.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a bit of your day with me. Don't forget to visit Pinkfresh Studio's Challenge post (HERE) to enter your creation inspired by this month's theme/color palette. And one (1) lucky creative will win a $50 gift card to Pinkfresh Studio's online store! The winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 4th.
Good Luck and Happy Crafting!

The card features the new Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle paired with the Miss Your Smile stamp set. The Miss Your Smile has a beautiful floral design that is perfect for coloring. I used Copic markers and added colored pencils for additional shading and depth. I took a chance and colored the background a beautiful, deep blue. The coordinating Mini Slimline Envelope fits the card perfectly. A simple sentiment and few clear drops completes this card.

Hello, sweet friends!
Happy Monday! What a wonderful way to start the week with a little creative inspiration. Today, is Pinkfresh Studio's May Release, Die Essentials. I enjoy participating in the essentials releases because these dies are the foundation for card making and add just the right touch to elevate your creativity.
I used the new Stitched Scallop Square to create this card, which is a new addition to this collection (including the slimline and rectangle dies version). I appreciate the lovely stitching and scalloped detailing these dies provide. I stamped a white 4.25x4.25 card panel using the Nested Chevron image with Storm and Slumber dye inks and proceeded to diecut the panel with the largest stitched scallop rectangle die. I used foam tape to pop up the inset border. The floral image is from the Friendship Blooms stamp/die set. I stamped the image using Detail Black ink and colored it with Copic markers and Polychomo colored pencils. The Perfect Sentiment stamp/die set is wonderful for finding the right sentiment and a few amber jewels completes this card.
Pinkfresh Studio loves spreading joy, so as with each release, Pinkfresh Studio will be gifting the ENTIRE May release to one (1) lucky creative from their blog and one (1) creative from their YouTube channel. In addition, ten (10) creatives will have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Pinkfresh Studio's online store. To be eligible to win, leave a comment on the blogs along the hop. Winners will be chosen from the comments and announced May 31st on Pinkfresh Studio's Giveaway page. Winners have two (2) weeks to claim their prize.

I am popping in for a quick post this morning. Can I tell you I am running on empty? As the last few days of school loom on the horizon, I am busy trying to make sure my boys have a fun and productive summer, keep their attention focused on school...yes, until the end...and give all their teachers the high fives and kudos they deserve for getting them through this academic year. Whew! But there is something about enjoying a moment in my craft room to reset and refresh.
To create this card, I stamped the Heartfelt Thanks stamp in Detail Black ink and then used a rainbow of Pinkfresh Studio dye inks to color in a strip of vibrant color. I used colored pencils and Tombow markers to add a bit more color and shading to my card front. A simple sentiment and a quick border make for a simple, but colorful card. And yes, it still took me two hours to create. LOL!
Happy Crafting,

Hello, crafty friends!
I hope your week is off to a great start. I am popping in to share a card featuring It's a New Day Floral from Pinkfresh Studio's recent release. After creating my card, I noticed I used a purple color palette, again. I guess I am going through a purple phase.
Creatively, I love pairing geometric elements with floral designs. There is something beguiling about mixing the organic, fluidity of flowers with the solid presence of shapes and the space they inhabit. I started by stamping, diecutting, and coloring the beautiful florals from the It's a New Day Floral to create this card. I then added the simple black frames to ground the flowers on the white A2 card background. A vibrant splash of purple with ink splatters and a simple sentiment completes this card.
Thank you for spending a bit of time with me. I hope you have found a little creative inspiration to take with you on your own creative journey.
Happy Crafting,
Keia
