JAS Challenge...Just Because

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,

Welcome back to this week's Just A Challenge--bows. If you are like me, you are probably feeling tied up by this challenge. Any other day, I might have a bow on one of my projects, however, the minute it becomes a challenge...I freeze. Time to step outside the creative box.

Instead of creating a bow for the sake of adding a bow, I decided to use several bows to add texture to  the background of my card. I used several distress inks to create the soft watercolor background and then added splatters for a little edge to the softly blended colors. I then created several bows and added them to the background and layered mulberry paper on top. My die cut daisy bouquet was colored with Copic Markers and then adhered it with foam adhesive. Finally, a sweet sentiment and a coordinating purple border and my card was complete.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Don't forget to stop by the Just A Scrappin' blog for more bowtastic inspiration! You will be glad you did.

Smiles,

K
