Hello, sweet friends!
I hope your summer is off to a great start. I plan to use this time to learn a few techniques to apply to my card-making and memory-keeping projects. Learning to watercolor is at the top of my list.
This month, I am guest designing for Pigment Craft Co. Ivana, the owner and AMAZING designer of Pigment Craft Co., creates lovely craft goodies. Today's card features the Fruity stamp and die set. What I enjoyed about this set was the ability to use my ink cubes to create lovely layers of color for my stamped images.
The Fruit stamp set is comprised of solid stamp images, which makes abstract inking a fun technique to use with this set. For example, I inked the peach image using shades of orange first by applying a light orange dye ink and then going back and adding a darker shade of orange to the edges. Using ink cubes, instead of full-size pads makes it easier to do this technique. I continued the same steps with the other fruit from the set and also used the strawberries from the Berry Patch stamp/die set, a favorite for sure. The Pattern Builder: Budding Branches stamp makes adding background images a breeze. A simple sentiment completes this card. I feel as if this card is busting with fruity happiness!
Thank you for visiting! I hope you have a chance to visit Pigment Craft Co. and see some of the other lovely stamps from the June Release. And as always, don't forget to make something beautiful!
Happy Crafting,

Hello, sweet friends!
Welcome back for day two of Pinkfresh Studio's June Release. Today, I am sharing a card featuring a new addition to the Thankful for Friends collection...the Hot Foil Stamp and coordinating stencils.
I designed this card as part of Pinkfresh Studio's Instagram Hop, but I also wanted to share it here on my blog. Honestly, I am still a novice at hot foiling. However, I am enjoying learning this new technique. I will write this card was a lot of trial and error as I played with paper shims and various cardstock weights (between 80lbs to 110lbs) to achieve a nicely foiled background. In the end, I foiled the Thankful for Friends Hot Foil Stamp onto 100lb Blue Corn cardstock without any additional shims. I foiled the image again onto 110lb white cardstock and then used the new coordinating Thankful for Friends Stencils to color the image. A few of the new Metallic Pearls: Gold and a sentiment from the stamp set completes this card.
Thank you for visiting! I encourage you to visit the Pinkfresh Studio Creative Team for the Instagram Hop. As with each release, Pinkfresh Studio loves inspiring creativity, leave a comment on their Instagram post for a chance to win the ENTIRE June release. And ten (10) lucky creatives have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Pinkfresh Studio's online store. To be eligible, leave a comment on each of the designers' posts along the Hop.
Happy Crafting,

Happy Monday, Crafty Friends!
Today is Pinkfresh Studio's release day! I am sharing a card featuring the new Lemons and Blueberries Washi, Stamp and Die collection, which is fantastic!!
I love mixing florals with geometric print. To create this card, I used the circles from the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundles to die-cut pattern paper circles from the Keeping it Real collection. I used the Inverted Diamond stencil inked with Soft Lilac and Regal Kiss to create a vibrant geometric pattern on white cardstock. I adhered the beautiful Lemon and Blueberries washi onto a white cardstock panel and used the coordinating die to diecut the images. A simple sentiment, a butterfly from the new Small Butterflies stamp/die, and jewels complete this card.
As with each new release, Pinkfresh Studio loves to share handmade kindness with fellow crafters. Two (2) lucky creatives will win the entire collection, one from each social media platform Pinkfresh Studio Blog and YouTube Channel, and ten (10) creatives have a chance to win $25 gift cards to Pinkfresh Studio's online store. Leave a comment along the Hop for a chance to win one of these awesome prizes. Winners will be posted on the Giveaway Page on June 29, 2021. (*Winners have two weeks to claim their prize).
Thank you for stopping by. The fun is not over yet. Visit the other AMAZING designers from Pinkfresh Creative Team for more inspiration.

I am popping in to share a card using the new die from the Essentials collection.
To create this card, I started by taking a white card panel and used the Stitched Blanket Circle Die to diecut the panel. I then inked the card base using Sky Blue, Slumber, and Stargazer dye inks. The Indigo Vine collection uses a beautiful muted blue, grey, and turquoise color palette. I used the washi, dies, and stamps to create the lovely floral arrangement. A sentiment and a sprinkling of Stargazer jewels completes this card.
Thank you for visiting. I hope this card inspires you to create something beautiful this week.
Happy Crafting,

Happy Sunday, Crafty Friends!
We made it to June! Are you ready for summer vacation? Our family has been adjusting to our summer schedule for the past week and let me tell you...it is pretty good so far. I am hoping to really soak in the slower pace and enjoy a few camping trips. I am hoping you too have a chance to enjoy the slower pace, and of course crafty time!
This month's Pinkfresh Studio Challenge is DIECUTS! I think this is the perfect challenge to use diecuts in new ways or maybe use a few diecut ephemera pieces you might have been hoarding. Ummm...I mean me, not you. 😉
As with each Pinkfresh Studio challenge, there are several creative options, choose the theme, color palette, or both. I decided to do both and working with the new Happy Blooms collection made it easy peasy for this challenge.
I first started by stamping the beautiful Bougainvillea image onto white cardstock. I used the Simply Diamonds coverplate to design gradient color-block squares, which complement the Happy Blooms color palette. A few pieces of floral ephemera from the collection act as a focal point for the Hello from the Sentiment Suite: Mega Hello. A few enamel dots completes this card.
As with each challenge, Pinkfresh Studio offers two lucky creatives a $50 gift card to their online store. The deadline to enter is June 29th at 11:59 CDT. For more details and to link your project(s), visit the Pinkfresh Studio Challenge Blog post (HERE).
Thank you for stopping by! Have a lovely upcoming week. And as always...don't forget to make something beautiful!
Happy Crafting!
