Pinkfresh Studio| March Release Cling Stamp, Stencil, Die and Hot Foil Release

Happy Monday, Crafty Friends!


The wait is over!! Pinkfresh Studio's March Release is HERE!!! This release is bursting with crafty goodies from the stamps, dies, and stencils to the new hot foil stamps! Oh yes, it's time to get crafty! 







The Joyful Peonies is a versatile collection with its coordinating stamp, die, stencil, and hot foil stamp. By using the same supplies, but changing the color palette, I was able to create two similar, but very different cards to showcase the Joyful Peonies. To create my first card, I did a no-line coloring technique with the Joyful Peonies stamp in shades of pale red in the Copic marker family. I then added highlights and shading with my colored pencils. I love pairing texture with florals, so after inking the background panel with Peach Fuzz,  Ocean, and Tidal Pond inks, I added a few white inky splatters. I then added vellum leaves to the floral arrangement with the Curvy Leaves die. A foil embossed sentiment using the new Celebrate hot foil stamp completes this card 



 

My second card features similar elements like the Joyful Peonies and Curvy Leaves. However, this time I decided to stretch my dies by creating a smaller lattice focal point with the Simply Diamonds die. I started by creating a frame and then gluing it to the Simply Diamonds diecut. Once I had the area I wanted to keep, I cut off the excess with my trimmer. Viola! I love a punch of color with black and white, so I stamped an A2 panel with the Bougainvillea Print stamp, which is gorgeous by the way, and added my peony bouquet. A simple sentiment from the Flower Garden stamp set completes this card.

Scrapbook.com| Ink Pad Storage Bundle

 Hello, Crafty Friends!

Pinkfresh Studio| Monthly Challenge—Florals

Hello Friends,

The Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge is still going on! There are a few days left for you to play along and find inspiration from the Creative Team. Today, I am sharing a card project featuring the new Anemone Magic stamp and die set. 







For this card, I decided to continue working on my no-line Copic coloring skills. I stamped the image and then used my Copic markers and Polychromo pencils in shades of blue, yellow, and green to match the Keeping It Real collection. I then stamped the sentiment from the collection "Don't Be Busy Doubting Yourself While Others Are Intimidated By Your Potential" onto the Essentials Ornate  Banner. What a beautiful sentiment and one we should all remember.

Small Things Have Great Power

Happy Monday, Crafty Friends!


How was your weekend? I had a chance to spend quality time with friends as we enjoyed a relaxing day. Today, I am sharing one of the cards I made this weekend using the new Scrapbook.com Moroccan Tile and Slimline Nested Rectangles. 



There are many different ways to use the new slimline dies. You can use this die to diecut, dry emboss, create a stencil, paper-piecing, or in the case of this card, use the diecut pieces to create a pattern. I love it when I can stretch my crafty tools to get the most from them. 



 

I used several techniques to create this layered card. First, I used the Slimline Nested Rectangles to cut a slimline card front from white cardstock. I inked the diecut panel with Pinkfresh Studio's Lemon Whip ink and Tea Dye Distress Ink. I paired the warm, buttery yellow from the Warms Slimline paper pad with the new Painted Peony washi and dies. I added vintage handwriting to the panel and used the Moroccan diecut panel to layout my design for the pop-out diecut pieces. A few inky gold splatters finishes the panel. The focal point for my card uses the beautiful Painted Peony. I paired this with the Leafy Branch die to provide extra foliage. And the sentiments from the Painted Peony stamp set are so impactful. I stamped the sentiment "Small Things Have Great Power" in Detail Black ink to complete this fanciful card.

Slimline Card| Thanks You Are Seriously The Best

Hello, Crafty Friends.


I am popping in to share a slimline card made with the new Scrapbook.com Slimline Ticket die. 



To create this card, I used the medium-sized Slimline Ticket and diecut it from a piece of white cardstock. I then used Pinkfresh Studio's Passion Fruit, Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Fresh Pear, Sky Blue, and Lavender to ink my diecut panel. I wanted to create a focal resting place for my colorful leaf arrangement, so I diecut two rectangular panels using Penny Black's Simple Stackers. I love the subtle edging, which adds another layer of interest. I have had my eye on Altenew's Leaf mix dies and have been looking for an opportunity to create a leaf arrangement. These dies are fantastic and can be used for a myriad of different occasions. I used Scrapbook.com's A2 paper pads in Floral, Cools, and Warms to create a rainbow gradient with my leaves. A little gold embossing adds a nice touch to the foliage. 


 
I am always adding Thank You and Thinking of You cards to my stash. I used the Thank You die set from Scrapbook.com and diecut it several times to add substance to the delicate word diecut. I paired the Thanks diecut with a sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio's Simply Sentiments—Thank You stamp set heat embossed onto black cardstock. A few gold inky splatters complete this card.
