Happy Friday, Crafty Friends!
Today, I am sharing a card featuring the new Reset stamp/die set. I created this card as a follow-up to this month's Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge—Alphas and Words.
To create this card, I started by using the Color Block Stripes die to diecut complementary strips of paper from Concord and 9th's paper collection. I then adhered these to a piece of A2 cardstock. I wanted to create a little visual interest that would soften the color-blocked background. I did this by heat embossing the floral bouquet from the Choose Hope stamp set and adhering it using a special tape for vellum to the panel. The bold sentiment is stamped onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Passion Fruit, Coral Reef, Lemon Whip, and Meadow dye ink. Another heat embossed sentiment from the Infinite Blooms stamp set and little florals, colored with Copic Markers and colored pencils, completes this card.
You still have time to participate in the Pinkfresh Studio's Monthly Challenge, which ends Tuesday, March 2nd. As with each challenge, one lucky crafter will win a $50 gift card for use to Pinkfresh Studio's online store. For more details regarding the challenge, visit the Pinkfresh Studio page (HERE).
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a chance to step into your craftroom and create a little paper magic this weekend!

Happy Sunday, fellow crafters!
Today, I am sharing a 9x12 layout featuring my son. Normally, I prefer to do a pocket-style layout, but now and then I like to intersperse my memory-keeping album with the occasional traditional scrapbook page. Living through a pandemic has had its challenges; however, I have seen my two sons step up and dedicate themselves to their studies and I am proud of their efforts.
Since page layouts are not my normal go-to, I look for inspiration from one of my favorite scrapbookers, Victoria Marie. Victoria offers wonderful content on both her blog and Youtube channel that always inspires me to try new things in my memory-keeping process. In this case, I loved the idea of creating a pocket to store my journaling. And while Victoria showcased an awesome die/stamp combination from Elle Studio, I was able to create a similar pocket with the dies and stamps I had on hand in my craft space. I cut a piece of patterned cardstock 3.5x8.25, scored at 4 1/8, and used a small circle die to cut a notch in the panel before adhering the sides together with double-sided tape. A tab from Photoplay's Living Quarantine was adhered to the top of my typed journaling card. I love it when I can use supplies in new ways to get the most from my crafty stash. I am a huge fan of layering, so I used the ephemera bits and pieces to help tell the story in the pictures. And I loved the clusters of embellishments, which adds visual interest with multiple differing heights. Using black and white photos helps the photos to not clash with the bold color palette of the pattern paper and ephemera.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a chance to step into your crafty space and create some paper magic of your own.
Happy Scrapping,

Happy Friday, Friends!
We made it to the weekend! Time for a little crafty fun! Today, I am sharing a card featuring a few goodies.
Okay, after designing a few slimline cards this month, I think I finally figured out how to work with this format. To create this card, I started by using Scrapbook.com's Slimline Neenah Solar White Ultra Thick Card base and stamped Pinkfresh Studio's Celebrate Today floral image in black. Using the Sherbet cardstock and Pinkfresh Studio's Slim Stripes to create rainbowlicious stripes for the "Mega Thanks." Once the stripes were diecut, I used double-sided adhesive to attach them to a piece of cardstock. I then used Altenew's Mega Thanks die to diecut my card's focal point. A simple heat-embossed sentiment completes this card.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a chance to head into your craftroom and create a little paper magic!

Hello, crafty friends.
How are you doing? I know this week has already been trying for various reasons, weather, living life, and a host of other concerns individuals are juggling. I am hoping you find a moment to breathe this week. Crafting is definitely becoming my quiet time to rest my mind and just enjoy the process of creating.
Lately, I have been feeling the need to mix it up a bit and decided to use a few items from Pinkfresh Studio's Office Hours Collection. I paired the ephemera and 3x4 card with the new Friendship Blooms stamp/stencil and Sentiment Suite-Thank You stamp and coordinating die. The Friendship Blooms layering stencils made adding color to the floral background easy. This was a quick, but impactful card. And I had a chance to pull a few goodies from my scrapbooking stash to change things up creatively.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I hope you have a chance to step into your crafty space this week and create a little paper magic.
Happy Crafting,

Happy Monday!
I hope your week is off to a wonderful start. I sit here typing as the snow is falling and the winter advisory cautions limiting outside activity for fear of frostbite. So you know what this means? It is the perfect weather to grab a cup of tea and head into my craft room to create a little paper magic.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I find the slimline card to be creatively overwhelming. I am never quite sure where my designs should go. Do I create in the middle, the top, the bottom, or over the entire card base? And then there is the question of size. How big should one's card base be, and what about a coordinating envelope. Enter Scrapbook.com's Slimline Neenah Solar White Ultra Thick Card and Envelope set. The card base measures, when folded, 3.5x8.5 inches, and is 110lb. cardstock weight with a coordinating envelope. The paper feels great and is sturdy enough to withstand various craft techniques without warping.
To create this card, I started by inking the panel using Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink. I allowed the panel to fully dry before using the Bold Stripe stencil and iridescent embossing paste. If I did not allow the panel to dry, then the paste would have turned the color of the inked panel and not remained eggshell white. After applying the paste, I added a few inky splatters using an opaque black watercolor. The panel did not warp with the addition of the watercolors. I set the panel aside to dry and created the elements for my card. I used Altenew's Pen Sketched Flowers and Crystal Frames for the focal point with a smattering of vellum leaves using Pinkfresh Studio's Curvy Leaves. A simple "Hello" sentiment completes this card. I cannot write that I am not entirely comfortable creating slimline cards, but I am making progress. And I will take that for the creative win.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope this card has inspired you to create your own slimline card.
Happy Crafting,
Keia
