Happy 9th Birthday Taylored Expressions

Happy Monday and Labor Day Taylored Expressions Fans,

Today, and all this week, Taylored Expressions is celebrating 9 years of sharing joy and happiness with their fans. You can join in the celebration by creating a card using the above fabulous sketch! Then be sure to enter for a chance to win one of nine amazing prize packs filled with nine of Taylor's favorite crafty things (each pack is valued at over $115)! Best of all, one lucky winner will be chosen by Taylor to join the Creative Team as a guest designer for the October Release and will receive an incredible prize package of the newest TE goodies! Click HERE for the details.

I am excited to have this opportunity to help TE celebrate their ninth birthday. Here is my take on the sketch.

To create this card, I used Lavender Glaze and Potato Chip inks to color Sugar Cube cardstock. Then took the cardstock and embossed it using the Take A Number embossing folder. The stamped image was colored using Copic markers and then fussy cut. Ranger's Glossy Accents was added to the balloons to provide dimension. A bit of ribbon, die cut balloons and enamel shapes complete this card.

Card number two features the Peek-a-Boo Birthday, a birthday addition to the Peek-a-Boo collection. To create this card, I also used Pow! Boom! Wow! and Dizzy Dots Background stamp to design a Dino-Mite boy card.

The background uses tone-on-tone stamping featuring Peapod ink and cardstock. Copic markers are used to color the cute little dinosaur. A few boomtastic speech bubbles and well placed bombs complete this card.

The fun is not over yet. Visit the TE blog (HERE) for more inspiration and to check out the 9th birthday celebration festivities! Plus, it wouldn't be a party without a favor! For a limited time, when you spend $50 or more at the TE web store (HERE), you'll earn this super sweet Iconic Wishes-Birthday stamp and die combo for FREE!

Happy Crafting,

Keia
