Retro Sketches No. 123...Barefoot

Hello Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,

I had a chance to stop by the Retro Sketches blog and view their latest sketch. Fabulous, of course. I decided to pair the multi-layered sketch with some of my favorite papers, stamps and embellishments from Taylored Expressions.  I am in love with those darling little flip flops. Too, cute for words.

Deconstructed Sketch No. 159...Happy Birthday, Ellen!

Good Morning Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,

I created this card for my friend, Ellen, who is celebrating her 49th birthday today. Happy Birthday, Ellen! My friend, Ellen, is pretty amazing. She has a wonderful, bubbly personality and an infectious laugh; but best of all, she is a amazing wife, mother and friend. Here's to you, Ellen.

Not All Who Wander Are Lost...

Good morning Fellow Crafters and Scrappers,

Welcome to our weekly Just A Scrappin' Challenge. This week we are celebrating summer by creating a card, project or layout using a beach theme.

I based my card off the CAS(E) this Sketch No. 83. I like the simplicity of this sketch. I used distress inks and Taylored Expressions' Ray of Sunshine cutting plate to create the light effect for my lighthouse. The die cut is a throwback from an old Cricut cartridge...Life is a Beach. A few seagulls to chart the way and my card is complete.
